Light sculpture by Marcel Simons - Dodecaëder
The light object has the shape of the geometric dodecahedron (12 pentagons) and is made up of 20 "polished" stainless steel spheres with a diameter of 25 cm. The light source is incorporated in one of the spheres and is therefore out of sight. Using a remote control you can choose between different colours and switch from warm white to white in steps, in addition to dimming and switching on/off. Standing on the 3 included pillars, the object is 93 cm in height. The 17 kg object can be hung as a chandelier using the 3 supplied steel cables.
Each handmade item is numbered and signed.
