  • Continuing on in the series, Volume III takes a deeper dive into the myriad practices of artist today. This time, Heidi Zuckerman focuses on eighteen international artists working across diverse mediums and sheds light on not only why they create but also why art matters and how they find meaning through their fundamental beliefs. These in-depth conversations cover a range of topics - from listening to the same song on repeat, the importance of art and curiosity, and finding the flow state, to the openness of not knowing and what a legacy can look like - and bring us even closer to the artists defining our current era.

Formerly Director of the Aspen Art, Zuckerman previously worked as a curator at the University of California, Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive, and the Jewish Museum, New York. In Aspen, Zuckerman transformed the Aspen Art Museum into a pioneering, risk-taking institution and has made a name for herself as one of the leading museum directors globally.

Artists include: Doug Aitken, Daniel Arsham, Sam Falls, Jennifer Guidi, Glenn Kaino, Bharti Kher, Käthe Kollwitz, Guerrilla Girls, Thenjiwe Niki Nkosi, Marlo Pascual, Adam Pendleton, Richard Philips, Seth Price, Christina Quarles, Tom Sachs, Gary Simmons, Mary Weatherford, Hank Willis Thomas and Alisha Wormsley.
